Quiet Morning - It is another quiet morning across North Texas with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. With a mix of sun and clouds, we should warm nicely to the mid 70s this afternoon. Still about 10 degrees above average; the average high for DFW on November 28 is 62 degrees. It may be breezy at times, but will continue to remain very pleasant.
Wednesday and Thursday - Clouds start to increase as a cold front pushes through the area, but should come in a dry fashion. This front will bring temperatures down to the mid 60s in most spots on Wednesday. For Thursday and Friday, we continue to forecast a sunny sky with highs in the mid 60s, excellent weather for the high school playoff games on Friday. No signs of any precipitation this week. The Weekend - No real change; We still remain very sunny and pleasant with highs in the low 70s with lows in the 50-60 degree range. Next Week - The GFS suggests that a band of numerous showers and storms will push through the region from Wednesday to Thursday evening. No signs of severe weather, but this could mean our first real chance of rain in a while. Cooler air will also follow next week, with highs in the mid 50s and lows at or just above the freezing line.
