Those that have been in the weather community or social media business know that whenever there is a risk or signs of at least cold air, more or less snow in the forecast, these trolls come out in the social media world in full force. In both situations, they populate the social media world like the bubonic plague. This could be seen as a reflection of the quality of our country, but sadly, we must put this to an abrupt end here before it starts to become a regular problem on this website.
Now don't take it the wrong way; We still love for you to comment if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or jokes, but we will require you to use a Facebook login. By doing this, this will show a real name associated with your comment. What I have learned over the years is that most of these trolls are cowards and hide behind computer screens with a fake name, so this could be a defense mechanism to scare some of them away. Again, this is not a personal attack on any individual. We still welcome negative feedback or criticism, but we do not allow personal attacks, profanity, hate speech, or racial slurs. We value every opinion here, but remember to keep it classy. This will allow us to actually focus on the part about forecasting the weather rather than policing the blog for these trolls.
